About Amethyst
Amethyst is a clean and easy to use RSS reader for Apple devices - built by a writer, for writers. I always wanted an RSS reader that I felt could help me do my job, and Amethyst is that solution.
Amethyst development kicked off in late 2024 - and slowly made its way to be over the past year and a half or so. It fully embraces Liquid Glass, and is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.
If you're someone who wants granular control over your news intake while having a native-looking interface, Amethyst may be the solution for you.
Amethyst is available for free on the App Store, fully featured, for a limited time. Eventually, to use real-time push notifications, which does have ongoing server costs, you will be able to subscribe to an Amethyst Plus subscription at a low cost.
